Terry's Firearms is the trusted local gun shop in the Winston-Salem, NC area. We have the largest selection of guns for sale in the area, so if you have any questions about your firearm, or if you are having any problems, feel free to stop in and speak with your local gunsmith expert.
We enjoy taking advantage of our Second Amendment rights. Because of this, we offer several services, including the special ordering of firearms, ammo, and accessories, in addition to gunsmith services, including gun cleaning, cleaning supplies, reloading supplies, appraisals, and knowledgeable friendly advice.

Location & Directions
We are located on the corner of PO Box 1810 King, NC 27021 and Main St. in the historic downtown area of King, NC, not far from Winston-Salem, NC.
Just a few short minutes from Winston-Salem, just take US 52 N and get off at Exit 123 King/Tobaccoville, turn right, and go about a half mile. We are on the right-hand side on the corner.
Coming from Pilot Mountain, take US 52 S and get off at Exit 123 King/Tobaccoville, turn left, and go about a half mile. We are on the right-hand side on the corner.
State Law Requirements for Long Gun Sales
In order to purchase a Long Gun (Shotgun/Rifle), you must be 18 years of age or older. You must possess a valid ID. All long gun purchases must be called in by phone, or you must possess a valid Concealed Carry Permit issued by the State of North Carolina. The telephone process in most cases only takes a few minutes. If any issues arise, then it usually takes a few days for approval.
State Law Requirements for Handgun Sales
In order to purchase any type of Handgun, you must be a resident of North Carolina and you must be 21 years of age or older. You must have either a valid permit issued by the Sheriff of the County in which you reside, or a valid Concealed Carry Permit issued by the State of North Carolina.
